MY STORY: HOW I CAME TO LOVE TRAVEL

ABOUT ME:How I Came to Love Travel After teaching elementary school for a decade and constantly fantasizing about my next trip, I decided to step back and become a travel photographer and writer to follow my explorer’s heart.

Since I can remember, I have had a passion for traveling at Easter Island’s RANO RARAKU.That was instilled in me early on by my parents.Traveling in our RV took up a lot of our weekends and summers. We went on numerous short- and long-distance journeys as well as numerous local excursions in Alberta. To name a few, we drove to Southern California, across Canada, and to ALASKA.I enjoyed learning about the history and culture of new places. In school, social studies was always my favorite.

After hiking the Inca Trail in Peru, at MACHU PICCHU, I caught the travel bug hard when I went to Europe for the first time in eleventh grade.I was so nervous because it was a school trip and my first time flying.Beginning in London, we traveled to Paris.I fell in love then. Not high school love, puppy-dog love.True love existed here. The kind of love that takes over your life and makes it hard to get away from.the sort of love that never ends.

Was I in love with Paris? At the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, FranceOh yes!But even more so, I adored the entire travel experience.I couldn’t stop eating.I wanted to see and learn as much as I could and make the most of every moment. When I was in the bus, I would look around and see people sleeping, and I would wonder, “What is wrong with you people!”You are being left out!Even simple landscapes that passed by my window were something I enjoyed.

I’ve always wanted to travel since that first trip.I’ve traveled to a lot of different places in a lot of different ways, including on my own, with a group, on vacation packages, and on cruises. While there are advantages and disadvantages to each type of travel, I have definitely identified my preferences.

Exploring PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC I prefer to travel alone to locations with a mix of stunning landscapes and historic landmarks.I enjoy going to archaeological sites and going for walks, biking, and boating in the great outdoors. It is extremely difficult to persuade me to spend a week lying around on a beach.I can handle it for a day or two, but I need to get moving and go exploring after that!Additionally, I desire in-depth travel experiences.I honestly hate the 10 nations in 10 days sort of visits (I disdain feeling hurried and passing up places). What’s more, financial plan travel isn’t my thing by the same token. At the end of the day, I like a little bit of luxury!
