All project sites, in-country staffing locations, and lodging locations have been hand-picked after passing a stringent selection process. ABV has been cultivating and strengthening our local partnerships and host family relationships for nearly 11 years. Staff visits, daily research on the conditions in the area, and weekly checks on our host families and accommodations are all carried out in the country.

Site determination depends on standards including; access to banking, medical, and postal services, among other essentials; access to local markets, transportation, and communication; existence of suitable housing and living arrangements.

Guide before Departure: Your ABV record will have a point by point volunteer aide. Information about the country, packing lists, customs, language, and more are given to volunteers.
