Volunteer in Rwanda: Individualized programs can be arranged for groups of five or more who are interested in volunteering together. A Broader View Volunteers has extensive experience organizing individualized service trips for small groups with students, teachers, and families.

Rwanda, also known as the “land of a thousand hills,” is a beautiful country with lush landscapes of volcanic mountains, low- and high-altitude forests, vast savannah, and stunning lakeside beaches. The famous mountain gorillas are also found in Rwanda.

On their free days, volunteers have many tourism opportunities. These include seeing mountain gorillas in Virunga National Park, going on a safari in Akagera National Park, seeing Lake Kivu in the western part of the country, and learning about the culture and history of the area at the Huye National Museum. It is also simple to extend a trip to neighboring countries like Uganda or Tanzania.

Youth enrolled in vocational training schools and pre-school and primary school classes benefit from this volunteer program. The programs are dedicated to ensuring that the human rights of children in Rwanda are safeguarded, that child labor is outlawed, and that every child, even the most disadvantaged, has access to quality education.
