selfieI went on a romantic road trip with a guy I had only met once, for five minutes, at a party in the South of France. It was one of my best travel experiences. After our brief meeting, we communicated on Facebook for approximately a month before deciding to meet in Florence in a hotel room to explore Tuscany together.He flew in from Vienna, and I arrived from Milano, following our agreement on the itinerary.For a long weekend, we rented a Fiat 500 and drove all over Tuscany.

We went to Cinque Terre, Siena, Lucca, Pisa, and some of Italy’s most beautiful cities.Together, we had a fantastic adventure. We went on subsequent trips after the trip because we had a lot of fun.The story’s conclusion was that sometimes it is beneficial to step outside of one’s comfort zone and take a chance on a stranger; who knows, he might turn out to be an excellent travel companion.
