As is customary, we are awestruck by the inventiveness of Thushni, our Local Experience Manager, and our local partner team. They are the best businesspeople. Aside from a periodic fuel stop (typically, we could never refuel with a client in the vehicle), this present circumstance has not affected our days off.
At least for the time being, it appears that the worst shortages are over. Current assessments give Sri Lanka until June to renegotiate their obligations or track down an answer with a contributor government or the IMF.
