On May 1, 2022, the Thai government announced that visitors who have been fully immunized will no longer be required to undergo a test prior to their arrival.

Soon after, the Malaysian government confirmed that there is no longer a requirement to take either an on-arrival or pre-departure test before entering Malaysia (or the two Borneo provinces of Sabah and Sarawak). Again, this is only available to travelers who have received all required vaccinations at this time.
