Hemakuta Hill Temple: The climb to the top of this hill is well worth it for the stunning temple ruins and breathtaking mountainside view. Numerous Hindu temples, Hampi ruins, and broken paths line either side of the hill. To see the sunrise from this location, you should arrive early.
The Lakshmi Narasimha Temple, also known as the Ugra Narsimha temple, is the most significant and religious of them all. Built in 1528 A.D., this 6.7-meter-tall statue of Lord Vishnu features a fierce carnation sitting cross-legged in its half-man, half-lion form. It is Hampi City’s largest monolith statue.
