We were greeted as we entered the library by stunning contemporary art installations that were influenced by the late Indian cartoonist and illustrator Mario Miranda, who was known for depicting everyday life in Goa. Additionally, there are numerous intriguing sculptures scattered throughout.

There are several floors in the building that are used for different things. We made our way to the kids’ section because we had a baby with us. There were plenty of age-appropriate books, toys, and computers for kids there, and there was a nice seating area for kids and their parents.

Numerous modern conference and lecture halls are available at the public library. We sat in on an improv acting workshop in one of these halls.
