We soon arrived at Ravi’s Ras Omelette Gaado in the vicinity of the Panjim Immaculate Church. It appears that no trip to Goa is complete without a stop at this well-known street food stall, which is on the list of every foodie. We were able to try their Ras Omelette, which is an omelette that comes with a Goan Pao (bun), chicken gravy, chopped onions, and coriander leaves.
I had never had an omelette with anything other than generously buttered bread, so this was a new experience for me. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of flavors, even though I had no idea what to anticipate. One of the area’s oldest food stalls, Ravi’s Ras Omelette Gaado was established more than two decades ago by the current proprietor’s father. The stall is only open from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the evening.
