Even though I wouldn’t have considered it to be my best travel story at the time, now that I think about it, it is one of the best and funniest stories I’ve heard in nearly three years of traveling. All of this took place during my 2016 trip to Fez, Morocco.
I once survived a face-to-face attack by deadly mutant bugs from outer space. After that, I went to a vaginal doctor who used the oldest x-ray machine in the world to put my face back together.
To make a long story short, one day I awoke with a lot of bug bites on my face. I was referred to a pharmacist and a doctor by the concerned owner of the guest house.
I later found out that I had been taken to a gynecologist, which was more specific. We discovered that I needed multiple medications after large insects attacked my face. An x-ray, for reasons I still don’t understand. I think he took x-rays of me at least.
